Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood released their duet “I’m Gonna Love You”, written by Chris Stevens, Kelly Archer, and Travis Denning and produced by Trent Willmon. Take a listen to “I’m Gonna Love You” via the official music video: HERE.

“I’m Gonna Love You” is the first single off Johnson’s soon-to-be-announced album expected out later this fall. Johnson said on the track: “From the moment I heard this song, I heard Carrie’s voice on it. It was a non-negotiable for me; either we sing it together, or I wouldn’t sing it at all. It’s that special to me. Working with Carrie has been an absolute pleasure. She’s not only one hell of a singer, but she’s a class act all the way around. It warms my heart to work with someone who’s seen so much success in their career and they’re still so down to earth. I feel like this duet is going to be massive in so many ways, and I couldn’t be prouder of it!” Adds Underwood: “From the time I first heard his voice, I knew Cody had something special. I’m excited for our fans to hear this special collaboration.”

Johnson also announced his next studio project Leather Deluxe Edition will be out on November 1st, featuring 25 songs, with 13 new tracks including “I’m Gonna Love You” and its preceding hit singles, “Dirt Cheap” and “The Painter.” Leather Deluxe Edition is available to preorder now; with an exclusive signed LP with a genuine leather sleeve is also available for preorder at Cody’s merch store.

Johnson later revealed that his ‘Leather Deluxe Tour’ will launch on January 17, 2025 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, featuring Ashley McBryde, Drew Baldridge, and Walker Montgomery as special guests. Johnson will also headline his first-ever appearance at the C2C Festival on March 14-16, 2025. For more information and updates on Cody Johnson’s music and tour, visit codyjohnsonmusic.com.
